Well, this comes a bit early but you get the idea. I won some throwies back at the second Phoenix DIY meeting, and realized they would make some kicking Christmas tree decorations. The tree is made out of pieces from a cardboard box, and everything is held together with paper clips, tape and magnets. I’d been meaning to make something out of cardboard since I saw Secret Tree at Maker Faire.
Cool! They look a little precarious, though. Don’t you think you should tape up the throwies?
Thanks! Yeah, i really should. I feel bad about running out the batteries though, so I was avoiding making them permanent… I thought about just running a wire to them and powering the LEDs from the wall.
